LINK WALKER OPEN 2023 The "Link Walker Open" is presented by the UWEC Football Program. The event took place at Mill Run Golf Course in Eau Claire, WI. on Saturday, July 15th.

Link Walker was born and raised in Eau Claire. He served in the US NAVY as a rangefinder during World War II. He earned eight letters in football and baseball while attending Eau Claire State Teacher's College (now UWEC). He was the UWEC head coach for 19 years.

A warm welcome goes out to Rob Erickson, who enters his first year as UW-Eau Claire’s head football coach.

This year's participants were a diverse group of former BLUGOLD athletes (mostly football contributors). The competition was good, but the camaraderie was better!
